I live with my husband in a senior living community in Denver, Colorado. My life has been a journey of unexpected turns that included the majestic trees of Oregon and the shores of St. Croix, USVI, where I moved years ago to follow a dream. Today, I do my writing from my recliner in the living room in Colorado. I make the most of the quiet moments to bring the Life Force Clan to life.
I’ve had a deep love for dragons since I was a child, but I’ve always felt that they were misunderstood. In my books, you won’t find mindless beasts or fearful monsters. My dragons are majestic and regal beings with ancient wisdom. Some of them possess a witty sense of humor and they all have a profound connection to the Earth Mother. While they are fierce in battle, they are defined by their intellect and the magical gifts that they share with their elemental magical riders.
As a three time cancer survivor who has navigated heart challenges and disability, I believe that every day is truly a gift. I’m currently working on a seven book saga, and the first three books are already completed. My greatest dream is to see this series in print because I want to leave behind a world that my friends and family can cherish and remember me by.
The Stonefall Mountain Range in my stories may look a lot like the Rocky Mountains outside my window, and the wilderness may be like the lush forests of Northern California and Oregon, but the heart of the books comes from a lifetime of choosing hope. I truly hope that you enjoy living in this world as much as I’ve enjoyed creating it.
