I live with my husband in a senior living community in Denver, Colorado. My life has been a journey of unexpected turns that included the majestic trees of Oregon and the shores of St. Croix, USVI, where I moved years ago to follow a dream. Today, I do my writing from my recliner in our living room. I make the most of the quiet moments to bring the stories in my head to life.

I’ve had a deep love for magic and dragons since I was a child, but I’ve always felt that dragons were misunderstood. In my books, you won’t find mindless beasts or fearful monsters. My dragons are majestic, regal beings with ancient wisdom. Some possess a witty sense of humor, and they all have a profound connection to the Earth Mother. While fierce in battle, they are defined by their intellect and the magical gifts they share with their elemental riders.

The Stonefall Mountain Range in my stories may look a lot like the Rocky Mountains outside my window, and the wilderness may mirror the lush forests of Northern California and Oregon, but the heart of these books comes from a lifetime of choosing hope. As a three-time cancer survivor who has navigated heart challenges and disability, I believe that every day is truly a gift. I hope that you enjoy living in my worlds as much as I’ve enjoyed creating them.
