Vorynth, the “Ancient One,” is the original force from whom the very first humans drew their power. He is ancient earth and molten fire, anchoring himself to the world like a rooted mountain. Built for unyielding defense, he is a massive, broad chested dragon of deeply scarred black obsidian, whose movement is not a graceful glide but a terrifying, grinding shift of volcanic glass and magma. Vorynth does not simply command respect; he embodies it through a silent, unmoving presence that was the origin of the very first Shield Bearer gift.
